Queen Letizia’s “rejuvenating” diet: the monarch takes the same breakfast every morning to lose weight

Queen Letizia, 49, is admired by many for her glamorous style and slender figure. The Queen of Spain stays fit and healthy by following a specific diet.

The beautiful monarch would be a follower of the Perricone regime.

The Perricone diet involves eating foods that reduce inflammation and contain anti-aging properties.

Doctor Nicholas Perricone created the popular meal plan which is also considered one of the most effective for weight loss.

The diet is very specific and Queen Letizia makes sure she follows it strictly and has the recommended foods every day to stay fit.

The Perricone diet says there are two main foods that should be eaten: fresh fish and iron-rich vegetables.

Therefore, Queen Letizia eats fish every day and she would like to have salmon for breakfast.

Salmon in all its forms, such as smoked, is an ideal and delicious food to eat in the morning.

It is also rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, which contribute to the glow of monarch skin.

While following the Perricone diet, saturated fats, refined sugars, pasta, bread, or cheese are not recommended and should be avoided.

According to Dr. Perricone, the results are visible after only 28 days.

Dr Perricone explained: “One of the greatest joys of my research has been discovering the role of essential nutrients in the foods we eat and how they affect our beauty, health and longevity. What I call often “superfoods” are those with particular anti-inflammatory, healing and rejuvenating properties, which have been overlooked in today’s fast and processed food world.”

Raquel González, brand manager in Spain, said: “It’s not a diet to follow all the time, but it’s perfect for doing a skin reset and getting used to eating better.”
