Coconut Shrimp is a delicious classic to start with, and an air fryer will provide a crispy finish that adds real crunch to this delicacy. First you need to preheat your air fryer to 375°F, then you need to shell and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on. To create the coating, in one bowl you must mix the coconut and the breadcrumbs, while in another whisk the egg whites with salt and pepper. Next, you need a third bowl filled with flour.

You then need to dip your shrimp in each of the bowls, going from flour to egg whites to breadcrumbs. Be sure to coat your shrimp on both sides and cover them as best you can. You are now ready to cook your shrimp on a greased tray in your air fryer. Cook for four minutes before turning and cooking for another four minutes. Once the breadcrumbs are golden and the shrimp turn pink, they are ready to serve.

You can also stir in a sauce while cooking. Apricot seems like an unusual option, but it goes really well with coconut. Simply combine the apricot jam with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a few red pepper flakes if you like the spice, then cook in a saucepan over low heat.

Bacon Avocado Fries sound all sorts of delicious, and they’re incredibly simple to make in an air fryer. First, you’ll want to preheat your air fryer to 400°F. You’ll need about three avocados for a good serving of fries. Cut each avocado into eight equal wedges. Then wrap each quarter in ridged bacon, working from bottom to top of each quarter.

You can cut the bacon to the size needed and use a drop of oil to help stick the ends to the avocado. Now lay your Bacon Avocado Fries on the surface of your air fryer basket – make sure none are touching and don’t pile them up. Depending on how many you have prepared and the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook in two batches.

Fry each batch for eight minutes until the bacon is cooked through and crispy. These are then ready to serve immediately. Ranch dressing goes well as a dip.

Cooking fish in an air fryer can result in a tender, flaky texture that crumbles in your mouth – but you have to be careful not to overcook it. Salmon, in particular, can be a delicious choice if you’re craving fish for Valentine’s Day.

First, you’ll want to preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Now, depending on the size of your salmon, you may need to cut your fillet into small, even pieces that will fit in your air fryer basket. Next, you want to add your seasoning to your fillets. You can use garlic, paprika, salt and pepper, then brush a little olive oil on top. Be sure to rub the seasoning in so the air fryer fan doesn’t blow it out.

Place your salmon in the airfryer and cook for 7-9 minutes. The cooking time will depend on the size and thickness of your salmon, so be sure to monitor it. You can check if it’s ready with a fork – when cooked, it should crumble. The paprika should also give it a golden color. That’s it, your salmon is then ready to be served with a fresh salad or cereal.
